There is something special about a piece of jewelry designed with natural gemstones - the deep, rich colors and the light sparkling off the gem.  And to think that millions of years ago it was being created from different minerals, water and other compounds, for you to wear today.

Natural rough gemstones are found all over the world.  In most countries many different types of gemstone rough can be found.  In the United States you can find Topaz, Peridot, Quartz, Tourmaline, Ruby, Sapphire, Amethyst, Emerald, Diamond, Rose Quartz, Citrine, Aquamarine, Garnet and many other fine stones.

The quality and types of gemstones vary from country to country.

Using Amethyst for example, I know that if I were to get a rough piece of Amethyst it would probably come from Brazil, Russia, or Zambia. The quality and deep purple color is incredible, and it makes a great piece of jewelry.
